Raccoon Madness was developed in Unity with 3 other members. The project served to test my peers' ability for rapid prototyping with artificial intelligence in 3D games. In this game, the player is a raccoon who collects food to accrue points. The design of the first level teaches the player the basics and goals of the game. The second level then introduces the player to a "rabies" mechanic. When infected with rabies, the neighbors infect other AI units with rabies. The third level is where the main game begins and introduces the players to an Animal Control Unit.

I was primarily responsible for delegating and distributing duties among my team members. I produced most of the assets using Blender, which includes models and animations. I also scripted the character and camera mechanics, as well as refined the AI.

The source code for Raccoon Madness can be found at https://bitbucket.org/phang1/raccoonmadness.
Main Menu
Level One
The first level is essentially a tutorial, introducing the basic enemy units as well as teleporting sewer grates.
Level Two
The second level introduces a more advanced enemy unit. It gives the player a new way of acquiring a higher score by finding food on the ground. More importantly, it brings in the "Rabies" mechanic, turning enemy AI into your allies.
Level Three
The third level is the first real level and introduces an Animal Control Unit (NOT YET IMPLEMENTED), which is only triggered by your presence in the other units. The game is over if he catches you. He is also capable of counteracting the rabies you infect the other units with.
